Meet Nouran Farouk, co-founder and CEO of Dosy, the first women-led mobility platform in Egypt and MENA offering female-only scooter ride-hailing services, while empowering women through training, green jobs, and sustainable transport. Her company is also working toward establishing its own production line for scooters and bicycles to localize manufacturing and promote eco-friendly mobility.
As a proud member of the ITC Ye! Community, she has had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Business Study Tour in China for SMEs from BRI Partner Countries, organized by AIBO and the International Trade Centre (ITC). The program featured insightful seminars, matchmaking sessions, and participation in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2025, one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions.
When asked about her trip to China, she said “The most inspiring part for me was learning how China integrates e-commerce, technology, and sustainability to drive innovation and global trade. Meeting entrepreneurs from around the world and exploring collaboration opportunities for Dosy was truly eye-opening.”
